Lora Campos, FNP-BC — Founder
Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner serving California via telehealth. Lora brings over 15 years in healthcare — from EMT-B to Army National Guard medic to family nurse practitioner — combined with lived experience as a marathon runner, triathlete, and certified FitFlow yoga instructor.
Her mission is simple: help individuals and families build lasting health habits that prevent disease and create stronger communities, one patient at a time.
Book a Telehealth VisitLora's path to family medicine in California reflects a commitment to serving others that started long before nursing. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies and taught in both Elementary and Special Education classrooms for the Los Angeles Unified School District — building a foundation of patience, communication, and empathy that shapes her clinical style today.
In 2007, she became an EMT-B, and in 2008 she joined the Army National Guard — experiences that sharpened her clinical instincts and reinforced her drive to serve. She transitioned into professional nursing in 2015, driven by the belief that communities thrive when their members have access to genuinely caring healthcare.
Board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) since February 2022, Lora has practiced with Contra Costa County Healthcare and developed an approach grounded in integrative medicine. Her belief: obesity is a leading driver of chronic disease, and depression can be managed — even prevented — through lifestyle practices, community, and mindfulness rather than medication alone.
She discovered this firsthand. After a difficult divorce, Lora turned to marathon running and triathlons to fight loneliness. The side effects were remarkable: she lost over 30 pounds and experienced lasting relief from depression. That lived knowledge is now the core of her clinical philosophy.
Most recently, Lora became certified as a FitFlow yoga instructor — a method that integrates cardio, weight lifting, and yoga to build body strength, balance, and mind-body connection. She is weaving this practice into her care model, creating wellness plans that extend beyond the clinic into daily life.
